Happy Birthday to my firstborn, my little man, my "tiny"! Carter turned 4 yesterday! He informed Brysen and I at breakfast that he was now a old old boy. We took him to the Spaghetti Warehouse in Dayton for his birthday supper. He couldn't wait to sit in the trolley and open his presents.
Opening his first fishing pole from Daddy. He was beyond excited!
Mommies presents are nice but not as exciting as daddies :)
He chose pizza for supper
Then they (the waiters) sang "happy birthday" and gave him icecream. He made sure that he got pop AND icecream for his birthday :)
So in honor of Carter's 4th birthday let me tell you four things you should know about him...
1) His personality is quiet, kind, and loving. Now he is not these things ALL the time but those attributes shine through most of the time
2) He LOVES his Grandma Kay (Fisher). He loves all his grandmas but his Grandma Kay is his favorite person ever...I think he might love Grandma Kay better than Mommy or Daddy ;)
3) He LOVES to help with chores. He would rather help me with carrying in the groceries than play toys. He loves to help Britton around the house or outside.
4) He LOVES to read books. If you would take the time to read him a book than you will probably score big points with him. He reads to himself and Brysen and me all the time :)
There is so much more I could tell you about our sweet little boy. No he is not always an angle but we are working with him. My prayer for him and the rest of our children is that he will love God with his whole heart and follow Jesus his whole life. There is nothing that would make me happier.
