....this is on the way to the restaurant....
When we got back to the guest house we were both so emotionally tired. We sat on the couch and emailed and facebooked and talked with Yonatan until 6 pm. I remember having a big headache and tired eyes from crying. We had made plans to meet the other CWA families at a cultural restaurant around 7. So after getting cleaned up and getting good directions from Yonatan we walked 15 min through town to the restaurant

We met the other CWA families, their drivers and a couple young girls that worked at the front desk where they were staying. The driver above knew the restaurant owner so he got us a table right in front of the stage. We all sat in half circles around little basket/tables . First they come around with bowels of water and soap and everyone washes their hands.

Then the servers come around and dish up the food. >Everyone keeps asking me what Injera is< Injera in Ethiopia is like hamburgers and fries in America. It is a rolled up tortilla like piece of fermented bread that taste very sour. You tear a piece off and scoop up little piles of spicy meat or vegis. We all ate off of the same plate :/ so buy the end it is looking a little gross :/ I did not care for it but it was probably because my stomach was already a little shaky. I am looking forward to taking Gracie to a Ethiopian restaurant in Indianapolis.
The dancing was amazing!! We had so much fun laughing and talking and listening to the music. One of the drivers told us that Ethiopians shoulders and necks are made up differently then Americans so it was so neat to see them dancing different than we would here. Their shoulders and necks are very flexible ?? I don't know the right word but they had some crazy moves. We took lots of video of this night. We were going to walk home but their taxi driver offered to take us and I was glad because it was dark and it would have been a little scary walking home.
When we got back Yonatan was waiting for us. He was so worried for us so he had called the restaurant and found out if we were still there or not....We really became good friends with him. He is our age so it was easy to connect with him. We found out the he does not believe in God . He told us his parents raised him Christian but his dad was raised Muslim. He does believe in the Bible though and follows it because he thinks it has alot of wisdom in it. He said for him becoming a follower of Jesus is not out of the question but he is still searching. This made our hearts so sad for our friend. Having been raised in a Christian home and having all Christian friends has made it so easy for us to follow Jesus and believe. I understand where he is coming from and my heart breaks for our friend.We watched a movie with him until 2 am!! :)
